Founded in August 2024 GEGA Recognizes people who have excelled and have contributed either directly or indirectly to make gospel industry not only uplifting but also outstanding.

Among the areas and individuals to be considered for GEGA Awards include; gospel musicians, philanthropists, choirs , instrumentalists ,media entities, legends and show programs among others.
